Title: Object Oriented Data Analysis with Applications to Neuroimaging Studies

Abstract: In this talk, I will first briefly introduce my research on object oriented data analysis with applications to neuroimaging studies. I will then talk about a detailed example in imaging genetics. In this project, we develop a low-rank linear regression model to correlate 2D imaging responses with high-dimensional genetic covariates. We examine the performance of our method using a large-scale imaging genetic dataset from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative study. Finally, I will briefly discuss several extensions of our method in causal inference problems.
