Abstract: 
Data for Good brings together volunteer leading data scientists with high impact social organizations to help make Ottawa a better place through data science. We have worked with the Ottawa Food Bank; the Youville Centre; Camp Ten Oaks; Impact Hub Ottawa; and more projects are always on the way. Getting involved with us is a great opportunity to help make Ottawa better while refining your data science skills in a risk-free environment (no bad grades/no missed deadlines if something you try doesn’t work out as planned). We have members with a wide variety of skills, and there is room for everybody to contribute, so come find out what it is all about!
