My research project is aimed to examine the impact of methylmercury exposure on primary murine cerebellar neuron and astrocytes. The objective of this study is to investigate the responses of these two brain cell types including oxidative stress, and other ROS related signalling pathways when challenged with environmental or superphysiological concentration of methylmercury.
