Bio

I am a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Laurie Chan’s lab in the Department of Biology at the University of Ottawa. I got my PhD in neuroscience in the Department of Medicine at the University of Hong Kong. Before joining Chan lab, I had my postdoctoral training in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto. My research interest is neurogenesis and neurodevelopment. I am particularly interested in studying the relationship between impaired neurogenesis and different kinds of neurological disorders. My current research focuses on the impact of prenatal exposure to low-dose methylmercury on early neurodevelopment.
