Bio

I have great interest in the study of the toxicity of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). I was previously working in the field of toxicogenomics, trying to gain insights on the mechanisms of toxicity of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on human leukemia cells. I have accrued experience in developing transgenic stem cells, and in toxicogenomic research (microarray, comet assay and a range of chromatography) for the assessment of toxicity of chemicals. Presently, my research focused on the neurotoxicity due to PAHs exposure.
