Bio

I have a Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Microbiology, both from University of Calcutta. After that, I have worked for a year as a Microbiologist in the Department of Medicinal Biochemistry at Jadavpur University and as a part project fellow in Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI). With in this course of work, I had opportunities to present my research at 99th Indian Science Congress and at an International conference on Eco-toxicology where I won a gold medal as the best presenter. Currently, I am pursuing my research (thesis) in Environmental Toxicology under the joint supervision of Dr. Laurie Chan and Dr. Alexandre Poulain with full scholarship and research assistantship.
