About
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa.
My research interests are in Statistical Genetics and Genetic Epidemiology. I have worked on a wide range of problems in genetics and genomics, including
- Estimating and incorporating genealogical relationships between distantly related individuals into gene mapping methodology
- Effects of population substructure with genetic study design and methods of correction
- Family-based study designs
- Software development for genetic data analysis

I like to collaborate and consult with other researchers on their Biological and/or Biomedical projects. I find this work especially rewarding and it often inspires new research questions.
Please Note: I am not accepting postdocs at this time. I may not respond to emails regarding requests for supervision.
