Research

I study low-dimensional topology, and specifically cobordisms of 3-manifolds, knots, links, and tangles. The main tools that I use are various versions of Floer homology and related invariants. I have also been working on the connections between Floer theory and contact geometry, and placing Floer theory in the context of categorification.

Here is my CV.

My research has been supported by an NSERC Discovery Grant, NSF Standard Grant DMS-2238131 (previously DMS-2039688), and an AMS–Simons Travel Grant.

Seminars

I will be organizing the Geometry and Topology Seminar at uOttawa in 2023–2024.
