Teaching

I currently teach first year courses, igneous petrology, third year field course (Archean Field Geology) at the undergraduate level. Recently I have taught Volcanology and the Caribbean field course at the graduate level.

Caribbean Field Trip

With my colleague André Desrochers (Carbonate sedimentology) I organize a two week Caribbean field course. We have offered the course four times in the past seven years. The focus is on modern carbonate reefs and arc-volcanoes. Highlights of the trip include exploration of modern and ancient coral reefs (Barbados and Tobago Keys) and the active volcano on the island of Montserrat.
