I am a full professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of Ottawa .
I hold the University of Ottawa University Research Chair in Quantum Information Processing.
I am cross-appointed to the University of Ottawa Department of Physics.
I am cross-appointed to the University of Ottawa School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
I am a member of the Institut Transdisciplinaire d'Information Quantique (INTRIQ)
I am a an affiliate of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and of the Institute for Quantum Computing.
I am a CIFAR Global Scholar Alumni.
My previous affiliation (2008-2013) was with the
Institute for Quantum Computing and the
The Department of Combinatorics and Optimization
at the University of Waterloo, where I was CIFAR
Global Scholar and
NSERC postdoctoral fellow.
Previously, I was a graduate student (2002-2008) at the LITQ
of Université de Montréal,
under the direction of Gilles Brassard
and Alain Tapp.
Before that, I received a B.Math in Combinatorics and Optimization (2002) from the
Faculty of Mathematics
at the University of Waterloo (co-op).
