Hello dear visitor! Welcome to my scientific webpage. I am an adjunct professor at the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of Ottawa. 

My field of research is in theoretical / compuational chemistry with an emphasis on molecular simulations. Much of my recent work has been focused on simulating clathrate hydrate materials.

Two of my books have recently been published.

1) "Molecular Simulations: Fundamentals and Practice" is a text suitable for students of Science and Engineering. It assumes a mathematics and physics level of students / researchers with backgrounds in chemistry and chemical / mechanical engineering.

2) Clathrate Hydrates: Molecular Sciencce and Characterization edited by Dr. John Ripmeester and myself was published in June 2022. This book has 16 Chapters on different aspects of clathrate hydrate structure, characterization, kinetics, and applications. Chapters are written by researchers in the field of clathrate hydrates from the National Research Council of Canada and other research centers. Dr. Ripmeester and myself wrote or are coauthors in 12 of the chapters.
