104th Peripatetic Seminar in Sheaves and Logic

In honour of Jaap van Oosten and Thomas Streicher

Amsterdam, October 6-7, 2018


Description: The 104th Peripatetic Seminar on Sheaves and Logic will be held on the weekend of October 6-7, 2018 and will be hosted by the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (University of Amsterdam). Talks start on Saturday morning at 9am and end on Sunday 1pm. This edition of the seminar is meant to honour two researchers in the field who have recently turned 60: Jaap van Oosten and Thomas Streicher.

Call for Participation: anyone interested in attending or contributing a talk is kindly requested to notify the organizers with a title and short abstract. We particularly encourage talks by people who have been students or collaborators of Jaap or Thomas. As always, the PSSL aims to be a welcoming environment for students and early career researchers.

Venue: The meeting will take place in the Doelenzaal, in the University Library. The address is: Singel 425, 1012 WP Amsterdam.
Please note that to get there from Schiphol airport it is fastest to take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. From Central Station it is a 20 minute walk to the conference venue. Here is a map containing the locations of the conference venue, Amsterdam Central Station and the restaurant.

Registration: There is no official registration. On Saturday evening, there will be a conference dinner in the nearby restaurant "In de Waag". Please let the organizers know as soon as possible if you are interested in attending so that we can plan accordingly.
