Bio

Judy relocated to Ottawa from Prince George BC in the fall of 2012 to continue her work as the National Coordinator for the First Nations Food, Nutrition and Environment Study. Ms. Mitchell has worked on several research projects/centres in a variety of roles from research assistant to coordinator including partnering on her original research in online survey development. Judy’s main research interest is community and the influences on community perspectives. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the paradigm shift, working with First Nations communities as partners in research from engagement to data collection to reporting back on all levels.
