Instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting

I.

(a) You don't want to install Zoom application

If you are not a speaker OR you don't want to use some advanced features of Zoom (like sharing a screen to give a slide presentation), you are perfectly good to join a meeting just using your internet browser. To do this click on the meeting-link in the email and then choose

If you cannot download or run the application, join from your browser

It is better to use the latest version of Chrome, otherwise you can be asked to use your phone instead of the computer-audio to connect to the meeting-audio stream

(b) You agree to install Zoom application but don't want to register for a Zoom-account

Download it from zoom.us/Apple store/.., install it and click directly

Join a meeting..

If you want to use Zoom from your cell phone or a tablet, then you have to install the Zoom mobile-application.

II.

(a)

At the next step you'll be asked to enter your Name (so that the host can identify you), then the number-ID of the meeting and the password.
After this you'll get into the waiting room. Wait for a minute or so to get admitted to the meeting by the host.

(b)

When you will be admitted, your audio and video will be turned OFF.
You can switch them ON by simply clicking on the corresponding buttons (usually in the left-bottom corner).
However, we are asking you to keep it OFF during the whole presentation, unless you want to ask a question.

(c)

If you would like to ask a question just switch ON your audio (present yourself) and ask your question.
