Jamil Sader completed a MSc at the University of Texas at Austin, worked for a year at an environmental consulting firm and started a PhD program in 2007.

He defended his PhD thesis in the fall of 2010,
was working as Senior Geochemist at Minerals and Metals Group (MMG) in Vancouver, and currently Corporate Geochemist of Vancouver Office of  Bureau Veritas.

His PhD thesis project is to characterize geochemical signatures of surface media over concealed kimberlites in wetlands. He evaluated the efficient way to detect kimberlites and modes of metal transport in waters.
