Content of the course

Topological spaces, product and identification topologies, countability and separation axioms, compactness, connectedness, homotopy, fundamental group, net and filter convergence.

Lectures:        Monday 8:30-10:00 B005

Wednesday 10:00-11:30 B005.

Office hours: Wednesday 13:00-15:00.

Remarks:  If needed, any change in the course description will be announced in class. It is the responsibility of the student to be aware of any modification of the course description.

Mid-term: There will be a mid-term on October 20th .

 

Evaluation: I will use the following scheme to compute your final mark: the maximum of either 100% on the final or 40% on the mid-term and 60% on the final.
