definitions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Prerequisites: MAT 2121 or MAT 2322, MAT2324
or MAT 2384.
Lectures: Tuesday 15:00-17:00 and Thursday
15:00-17:00, VNR 1095.
Office hours: Tuesday 12:00-14:00.
Mid-Term exam: Thursday June 2, 2011.
Assignments: There will be 3 assignments and
these will be due on May 26th, June 23rd, and July 14th. Late assignments will
not be graded.
Evaluation: Your grade for the course shall be
the maximum of
(a)
your
score on the final exam, and
(b)
your term mark, which is the weighted average of
your scores on the assignments (40%), the mid-term (20%) and the final (40%).
In
addition: To
receive a passing grade, you must score at least 45% on the final exam, and to
receive an E or better, you must score at least 40% on the final.
Missed assignments and tests cannot be written at another
time; their weight will be added to that of the final in the calculation of the
term mark. However, a maximum of 2 assignments can be so transferred.
Remarks: If needed, any change in the
